I just want to get that out there. This place isn't really ready to be renting out yet. The sand is really to soft. When we parked our camper I put down my wood blocks and my scissor Jacks and stabilized the camper, but a good hard first of wind shifted the camper of the jacks. It is not their fault but the and is too soft. We will return one day, but it will probably be a few years as their progress on building this place seems to be slow at best. I just really think they shouldn't rent spots until they're completely done with it. Sharkey's did was delicious though and the staff was awesome.

It has great potential, but shouldn't be open until they're finished rebuilding it. 1. The owners are nice people
As I said they are rebuilding but the sites are level and you can see the water from all of the sites. There is a motel in the resort and they are almost ready to open some of the sections. They do not have a pool. This is an excellent location for fishing. Right now the bath house is not the greatest but they expect to have it tiled soon. The wifi is weak but again they are looking at adding extenders. We are looking forward to going back next season and see what improvements have been made. Big shout out to Zac and Ted. This is an excellent RV park. They are undergoing a complete rebuild. You can not ask for a better welcome. They were great. As I said they are rebuilding the park adding more sites with full hookup. This park is located right next to the ferry to Ocracoke ( cost $1 to walk on). Rent a golf cart at the RV park for 1/2 the price you would pay at OK island.
