We didn't have time to do any of the "extras" like kayak, but next time we'll stay longer and take advantage of some of the activities they offer. Only drawbacks: Our site had some sand spurs and the bath-house hasn't been renovated yet. But, again, the service was first class beginning to end... so it was easy to overlook these issues knowing they'll be taken care of.
All spots are close to the water, the beach is nice and clean and "waves" are minimal (perfect for kids). We ate at nearby Sharky's Bar & Grill. The crowd was a mixed bunch - all walks of life - everyone friendly and fun. Food (we had fresh fish) and service were outstanding.
We enjoyed a girls weekend here, and it was AMAZING! They are still working on upgrades and renovations, but that only means what's already great is just going to get better!
Great staff, horseback riding on the beach. Many other amenities. We will be back. You can walk to the restaurant and to the ferry. Great place!
